The Press Box Restaurant, Casino, & Sports Bar was established in 1983. First serving only beer, wine, pizza, & deli sandwiches, The Press Box soon became a favorite frequent of the close-by University of Montana college students. A mere five years later, The Press Box expanded to a full liquor license and a full menu - serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Plus, adding 20 gaming machines, poker and keno.

Since 1994, the Press Box has been continually voted Missoula, Montana's #1 Sports Bar. In 2002, we did $500,000 worth of remodeling, creating a totally new atmosphere. Featuring sky lights, new windows, and a smoke-free atrium, one would think that we lost sight of our traditional roots as a sports bar. Hah! We also installed three 100-inch projection screen televisions and 30 large screen televisions. Plus, a new back bar and a Las Vegas-style casino!
